Symphony at Sunset

Vina Robles' Symphony at Sunset Pops concert scheduled for Sunday, July 31, 2016 features an array of nationally acclaimed vocalists, including Central Coast residents Deanna Delore and Paul Osborne, who will perform with the Opera San Luis Obispo Grand Orchestra and Chorus conducted by Artistic Director Brian Asher Alhadeff. A diverse program will include Americana favorites such as "America the Beautiful", "Stars and Stripes Forever", and "76 Trombones" in addition to hits from Disney and Hollywood, while also showcasing popular music by Leroy Anderson, John Philip Sousa, Henry Mancini, Elvis Presley, and Michael Jackson.

Maestro Alhadeff promises "The whole family will love this evening of musical stars under the stars as Opera San Luis Obispo transforms the Vina Robles Amphitheatre into the Hollywood Bowl of the Central Coast!"

Broadway by the Sea

Once again Opera San Luis Obispo returns to the Central Coast with its annual outdoor concert Broadway by the Sea, featuring an outstanding quintet of nationally acclaimed singers and pianist: soprano Jordan Amann, baritone Sergey Khalikulov, tenor Sidney Ragland, soprano Ashten Smith and pianist Ron Valentino. In perfect harmony with our musical selections, the concert takes place at the renowned Chapman Estate, offering some of the most breathtaking ocean views on the central coast. Arrive early, picnic with friends, bid on silent auction treasures, stroll the gardens, observe plein air painters and marvel at the scenery surrounding this historic Shell Beach estate. Ticket price includes complimentary wine tasting from Opolo Vineyards.

Set to lush, irresistible music, Giacomo Puccini's timeless masterpiece never fails to move audiences to both laughter and tears. The story of six young friends in Paris living on laughter and love.
