Children's Opera Camp

CURRENTLY NOT OFFERED: Historically, Opera San Luis Obispo's very own and unique Children's Opera Camp is a fun two-week educational opera day camp for students ages 8-17. No experience is required, just a willingness to try! Camp runs annually the last two weeks of July and culminates in a real children's opera production - complete with live music, sets, costumes and props. Our past camps focused on: 

  • Correct vocal technique
  • Drama and stage movement
  • Ear training and musicianship
  • Part singing and choral techniques
  • Use of props, costumes & make-up
